An Incredible Party In Berkeley

Yesterday Elena and I were invited to a party in Berkeley. It was held to honor the matriarch of the incredible Gallyas family, Eddy Gallyas. Elena and I arrived late int he afternoon. We pulled up in front of a modest house witht he front door opened. We thought that we had climbed in a time machine and gone back to the 1970’s. The house was full of happy people having a wonderful time. We were greeted at the door by Eddy Gallyas. She is advanced in age but still looks like she is 40 years of age. She is an incredible lady who is part of a very special Chilean family. We had a wonderful time at the party. Eddy’s beautiful daughter Carolina was there. We met all sorts of fascinating people from Latin America including a couple who had spent 4 years doing a bicycle tour of Latin America. We ate great food and drank good wine and beer. We were so sad when we had to leave
