Egoli Place of Gold-A New Book In The Works

Some of you may know that I am a published author with three books to my credit. I quit writing in 2005 to launch Elena’s career and get our house fixed up. Now things are in order and I am back finishing a book that I started long ago. Its title is Egoli Place of Gold. It is set in Johannesburg, South Africa between April and early September, 1981. It was a wild time when gold was $850 per ounce. South Africa, being a major gold producer, was awash with cash. It was a time of wild parties and an attitude on life of “Eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we might die.” It was a time of wars all around the country and the stigma of Apartheid. A human face to this tumultuous time is presented int he book. It was my introduction to Africa and a magical moment in my life. Get ready for some fun reading when it’s published in early 2017!
